ShortList Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an Android Developer to join a market-leading software company who are looking to expand.
As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for modernising and evolving mobile solutions as part of a wider transformation project. You’ll collaborate with senior developers and report directly to the Lead Android Developer, contributing to clean, maintainable code that aligns with long-term product goals.
This role is ideal for a junior or mid-level developer with a solid foundation in Android development (Kotlin), who’s eager to expand their expertise in cloud integration, DevOps and mobile engineering best practices.
This role will suit someone with the following skills:
- Kotlin and Java
- Jetpack Compose
- Web based API integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools
- Agile development methodologies
The Android Developer role is paying a salary up to £40,000 plus great benefits. The role is based in Chester and offers hybrid working with 2 days required onsite per week. It is commutable from Liverpool, Crewe, Wirral, Runcorn, Warrington and North Wales.
