About the Role

As a mobile engineer, you will further develop your CS and programming skills alongside a knowledgeable, collaborative, and fun group of engineers. You will participate in and help drive the development cycle by having the responsibility of driving modules in feature development. From active participation with partners to scoping and effort estimation to writing well tested code, you will take ownership of the work you're doing. You will also identify and fix bugs, adding tests to ensure we never fix the same bug twice. As a valued team member, you will bring ideas forward to refine processes. Responsibilities

  • Help drive the development cycle by having the responsibility of driving features from the early stages all the way to production

  • Take ownership of the work you're doing, from active participation with partners, to prioritization and effort estimation, to writing well-tested code

  • Bring others along with you, as you communicate decisions and challenges, mentor junior developers, and consistently help us hit the next bar of excellence

  • Help us see trends in maintenance issues, proposing wider-scope solutions to ensure we fix problematic spaces once and for all

  • As a valued team member, you will bring ideas forward to refine processes

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience developing production-quality apps for Android using jetpack compose or iios using Swift

  • 2+ years experience with mobile design and architectural patterns

  • BS in Computer science or equivalent experience

​Other Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Kotlin and usage of the Android SDK or Experience with Objective C

  • Working knowledge of Java and the Gradle build system

  • Developed one or more apps on the Google Play Store

  • Passion for design, UI, and UX

  • Test driven development skills

  • Experience in working with agile methodology


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $107,500 USD - $161,300 USD


 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $97,300 USD - $174,000 USD
