About the Job:
The Sr Mobile Developer II is responsible for establishing best practices, setting code standards, creating a community of practice around Android technology stack across several critical platforms within the Engineering department, including Touch Kitchen Display System, Kiosk, and Point of Sale. This is a highly impactful position to the Taco Bell business, with responsibilities ranging from optimizing the way team members receive and construct orders to building a seamless omnichannel ordering experience, and everything in-between! With this role, the opportunities for professional growth are endless. The Sr Mobile Developer II will report to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering.

The Day-to-Day:
  • Be a hands-on developer and team leader driving software development, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Build strong partnerships with other Development, Quality Assurance, Product, and Reliability Engineering teams to build scalable and maintainable software
  • Active participation and influence in code review and establishment of standards and best practices
  • Lead delivery of major technology initiatives on clear timelines that complies with complies with architectural, security, and testing standards
  • Active participation in all agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, refinement, retrospective, and sprint review demos
  • Contribute to building a high-performance culture and a sense of camaraderie within the cross-functional team
Is This You?
  • BS degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent years of experience
  • At least 5 years of experience leading teams and executing a strategic roadmap of capabilities and related initiatives
  • At least 8 years of experience in software development using Java and/or Kotlin for Android with Android Studio.
    • Experience with Full Stack languages including Typescript and NodeJS, a plus.
  • Familiar with AWS managed and serverless technologies
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives and effectively communicate complex concepts.
  • Continuously updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, actively seeking opportunities for self-improvement and driving innovation.

Salary Range: ­­$115,100 - $163,790 annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
