Sr. Android Developer (m/f/d)

As a Sr. Android Developer at Gini, your mission is to ensure a great experience with our mobile libraries and SDKs. You'll play a crucial role in supporting continuous integration, testing efforts, and optimizing agile development practices within the mobile team.

• You contribute to reviewing, refining and documenting requirements with Product Owners, mobile team members and other stakeholders
• You write clear and brilliantly structured code alongside maintaining the libraries, SDKs, and example apps 
• You write excellent developer documentation
• You actively contribute to the mobile team with new ideas and discuss technical aspects with the whole team, and support the continuous integration and delivery of our libraries and SDKs.
• You write reliable tests to ensure that the code performs as expected and is protected from future accidental changes
• You onboard and accompany internal and external mobile developers to ensure they know what to build and that their contributions are of a high quality

• You contribute to maintaining and improving the mobile team’s agile development processes

• You have 10+ years of professional experience in mobile development ideally in a dynamic organization 
• Your hard skills include Kotlin, Java, mobile architectures (MVVM, MVP), networking frameworks, continuous integration (GitHub Actions, Google Play, AppCenter, Firebase), dependency managers (Gradle, Maven publishing), testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso) 
• You can make prompt and thoughtful decisions regarding SDK clients
• You have experience with Camera APIs (Camera applications) 
• You know Android UI design principles and Material UI 
• You have experience in building libraries for apps and/or consumer apps 
• You are curious and have a huge desire to learn especially new technologies

• You have strong communication skills in English, German is a plus
