Who you are: 
As a Lead Android Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and supporting Android mobile-based solutions for our clients and company. You will have the responsibility to build Android solutions that will make an impact across multiple industries while growing your ever-evolving development skills with innovative technology solutions. As an engineer on our team, you will get to own the development in all phases of the software life-cycle from architecture and design through deployment and release. You will help create scalable, global mobile applications and work on project teams to deliver complex world-class with high-quality code.

What you will do:
  • Develop native Android apps from the ground up
  • Maintain existing Android apps
  • Manage your own time
  • Manage your own part of projects
  • Some architecture
  • Work collaboratively with project team to execute technology solutions across multiple industries and solutions
  • Working independently with minimal guidance and supervision on highly complex, technically advanced projects
  • Having a solid professional development background with an understanding of Software Architecture and Design
  • Developing cutting-edge projects writing high-quality code
  • Provide technical guidance, leadership, and oversight on assigned projects
  • Helping grow the technical knowledge and skills of other developers
  • Mentoring junior software engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, productive software engineers
  • Influence software engineers best practices within your team

What you bring to the position:
  • Experience in native development for Android using Kotlin but flexible to cross-platform solutions
  • Ability to work with UX/UI designers to build the best possible experience 
  • Experience developing professional-level software
  • Knowledge of professional mobile engineering practices & best practices for the full development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Experience building complex and innovative technology solutions that have been successfully delivered to customers
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe product features, technical designs, and product strategy
