Android Software Developer

Integration Innovation, Inc. (i3) is seeking an Android Developer that is passionate about application and mobile development. You will be working with a team of talented engineers to design, build, and deploy next generation applications for the United States Army. Specifically, the application that the you will support is a rapid prototype for multiple positions in the sequence of passing intelligence and creating fire solutions from it.

This position is located in Huntsville, AL and does allow for a hybrid (on-site and remote) schedule.

Responsibilities:

Architect, Design, and build advanced applications for Android platforms

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design, and implement new features

Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and functionality

Perform code reviews to be the first line of defense and improve product quality

Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

Team mentorship and technical leadership

Work as an agile team member on a Scrum team

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline. Additional experience may be substituted for degree.

At least 5 years of related experience is required. This position can be filled at a Mid or Senior level. 

Able to demonstrate knowledge in software development.

Understanding of the full development lifecycle.

Kotlin, Java, C#, C++ or Object Oriented Development.

Candidates must also have a working knowledge of all software development processes and documentation.

Working knowledge of Android development.

Familiarity with Agile development process.

Experience with UNIX/Linux environments.

Solid problem solving and communication skills.

A current security clearance is desired but not required.
