Comcast Technology and Product Experience (TPX) is seeking an Android Software Engineer to join our Connected Living Client Application Engineering team. This group is responsible for the timely development, testing, and release of the flagship Xfinity mobile app which converges Comcast's Home Security, Home Network Management, Xfinity Hotspots, and Internet of Things product offerings into one single app.
In this role you will collaborate with other developers, designers, testers, and business managers to build new Android libraries from scratch as well as develop features for existing the Android app. You will have opportunities to contribute to all aspects of the product, and are expected to be involved in early design, planning, and grooming sessions with our partners and stakeholders. You are able to pick up new technologies quickly, be a strong teammate, and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer demands. The ideal candidate will have experience building native Kotlin applications that rely on multiple web services and that operate at scale (thousands to millions of users).
